Why so strong when first started?
I have 03 5AT sedan and am in (hot and humid) texas..
When I first start the car when it is "cold", it pulls *really* strong, until the car warms up...(3-5mins) then it is *much* less torqey (not as strong below 4,000).
I can understand that it is partially related to intake air temp, and am guessing that it is something to do with the inital ECU mapping. Does anyone know what the ECU mapping is like on cold start (timing advance, A/F ratio...??) and whether this can be applied once the car warms up?
Would be really nice if the car stayed like that once it was warmed up.
