1000 miles on my G and the drivers seat looks worn

Anyone notice this with the Willow interior? It's just on the right sides. I can see stress marks that look like stretch marks on people. I expect this from getting in and out of the car, but not so early. I'm going to have the dealer look at it but has anyone else noticed this?

04 Sedan. Obs. Black W/ Willow. Premium, Navigation, Sport Tuned. 35% Tint on sides, 20% back, Hyper-Ground kit and Stillen high flow on delivery.

Mine is the same. It is the cheap leather they used to make
the sedan seats with. I have the graphite leather. Why are
you having the center leather replaced?

I'm with you all - my driver's seat looks used. My dealer said he couldn't do anything unless it tore. I've tried cleaning it and treating it, but the leather just looks like it's old and worn. Whatcha gonna do? At least it ain't cloth.

That is a characteristic of leather, the "crows feet" that's not abnormal at all, even right away. I have an '04, been driving it 4 days now, no crows feet, on previous Ford's, I got them the day I bought the vehicle, still had the same wrinkles after almost 4 years, the leather in my "04, Graphite, is far superior to the Ford leather!

The leather in my coupe looks wrinkled also, it's pretty sad.

I have only 6.5 k miles (in about 6 months) but I notice signs of wear on the driver's seat. It is off-putting! There is no indication of wear on the passenger seat or on the back seats; but they get only 30% of the utilization of the driver's seat.

You guys are overeacting to this, the marks you see now will still be pretty much the same after several years of driving! As long as you take care of it! Case in point, in '97, I bought a new F-150 Lariat, in just the first 35 miles, I got those marks on my seat, I kept the truck for 3 years, and they looked the same as they did after the first drive, and believe me, the leather in my '04 is far superior to that leather, you can feel the difference, this leather feels a lot like my lambskin leather jacket! This is the way (the crows feet) you could always tell leather from vinyl at just a glance.

Leather is a natural material and will have creases in it....what you refer to as "crow's feet." Take a baseball glove for example. When new, the glove is tight and smooth, but when broken in and used the glove has all kinds of creases and stretches out. The same thing is happening to your seats. The leather stretches out over time and you'll naturally have those lines.

The baseball glove is a great example, maybe these guys will be reassured now!
