carbon fiber hoods

i found a carbon fiber hood for 250.00 which is a good price, but i dont know the make. This hood was meant for a coupe, will this work on my sedan? are the hoods the same? i have a 2003.5.

coupe and sedan hoods are not the same. you should find out what brand and where

sedan and coupe hoods are vastly different, any year. don't even try it.

I believe VIS is working on one for the sedan. Other than that the only options are the Stillen like mine or ebay. I would not trust the ebay ones unless you wanted to use hood pins.

just wait for VIS -- the ebay ones are very flikmsy and you don't want a hood to fly up on you especially on the highway

Ask yourself this question: Do I want a CF hood for looks or to save weight?

If you answered "to save weight", forget it. Your stock hood is aluminum and a CF hood will not save much weight, if any.

If you answered "for looks" than please sell your G immediately!

Ask yourself this question: Do I want a CF hood for looks or to save weight?

agreed with skeleton cru... when i took off my oem hood to install my CF, i dont think i felt a difference in wieght.
