Hi... My service engine light came on.. I did the reset already and three days later it came back on... I found out last week that when the guy did the oil change, the filter was loose... I tightened it myself and I did the reset again.. but it keeps coming back on.. anybody has experienced this? I need help coz I'll be goin' from vegas to the Bay Area next week.. I don't wanna be on the side of the road if something goes wrong.. If you could help I'd appreciate it.. thanks..

 

get the trouble code from autozone for free. was it solid or blinking ses light?

 

it was solid light...

 

a common one is also the gas cap, make sure it's on tight. but to be safe get it scanned.

 

Yes go find out what the code is.

 

probably was the gas cap. if it resets itself it's still stored in memory -- woudlnt hurt for a free stop in at the dealership
