03.5 Sedan with electrical problems

Hey guys, I got a dead battery a couple weeks ago and restarted it, but when I restarted it the A/C and radio controls stopped working.

Thankfully the A/C started automatically and was set at 75 normally, so I haven't died from the Texas heat. Unforunately, the temperature gauge seems a bit haywire, because the A/C now stays on ALL the time, and the lowest it ever goes is 2 bars, the car gets really cold now even when it's super hot and my gas mileage is killing me.

I've been planning on taking it to the dealership but haven't had too much time, I was hoping someone has experienced this and knows an easy way to reset everything.

Should I just try disconnecting the battery for awhile?

Mark

P.S. I haven't disconnected the battery yet since I'm not entirely sure how to do it and didn't feel like doing it if it wouldn't have an effect.
