100k is nothing now, after driving my old integra with 240k and lexus with 220k i need to see more out of an engine to be impressed. I think the motor in my integra could have easily gone 300k+

190,000
190,000 probably not the highest but close.

No major problem with the car. Both engine and tranny running great like new.

2003 G35 Sedan Sport - 180k fun filled miles. Here's all I have had to do to it.

Replace Radio after the dreaded HVAC/Radio problem $300
New Driver seat motor and switch - $900 (ouch)
New Suspension Z/G Combo with KYB Coupe Sport Shocks
New Alternator - $900 (happened while traveling, double ouch)
3 of 4 doors replaced under warranty due to rust through on door jams (thank you infiniti)

$2,100 over 8 years ain't bad I suppose.

Still in need of fixing:

Passenger Seat Switch (if anyone knows of a good source let me know, stealership wants $250! for a stupid switch)
Rust on passenger side above windshield (goes in to the shop next week)

Not bad for 8 years of serious driving in the harsh northeast climate.

If you're a guy that has an 03 with ~100,000 mile, that's actually low mileage, and here's why:

Many "03" were actually built in 02, so that's 9-9.5 years old.
According to the DOT, the average miles/year that a man drives is 16,550 (over 18,000 if you only count the 20-54 age group that most of us fall into)
That means in 9-9.5 years, you car should have 150,000 - 170,000 miles.

If it's less than that, it isn't "high" mileage and you're posting in the wrong thread.
If it's in that range, it isn't "high" mileage, more average, and again... you're posting in the wrong thread.
If it's under 200,000 it isn't "Highest" because we've already had several posts in this thread with people over 200k (posts which get buried over and over) and once again... you're posting in the wrong thread.

From now on, anyone who posts in this thread and doesn't have really high mileage (think near 200k and over) is going to have their posts moved to the proper thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ge-thread.html

Additionally, I'll be cleaning up this thread and moving posts that don't apply to the thread title into the other thread.

really 10,000 miles on synthetic oil and same oil filter in the VQ motors is not a good idea but it worked for you for this long so plz continue and report back.

Alright, now that this thread is all cleaned up, let's all try and keep it that way!

Here's what we're looking for:
Can anyone beat 250,000 mi?

This one...

...was at 250,000 on 3/1/2011

So if you're not over 200,000 (preferably over 250,000+) then post in this thread ----> https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ge-thread.html
