Light is red.
I stop and jam to my hip hop songs etc, when a Red jetta with dark TINTS pulls up and Revs his engine up loud as helll!.. i kept hereing this hissss noise.. sorta like a blow off valve never the less i say omg you gotta be kidding me.. so i put my car in MM mode and when the light turned green i rolled out the car took me by 3 cars lengths... i waited to hit 6.4 RPMS before shifting....

I dont know call me crazy but isnt this car the skyline..

Whatever man i havent won 1 race with my g mayb i just keep getting unlucky and keep winding up racing highly moded cars..

Once agn distance was 1/4 mile (maybe less) and i hit like 100... im nto to sure wasnt looking at speedo..

 

leave your ride in auto...... reset the computer and drive only like a badass floor it, and brake hard.... NEVER drive granny style!!!! ..... this way the auto will shift faster than you could!

Believe me this works, you'll burn cars a lot more!
We got a nice transmission trust it, use it!

Hey Crazy ... It is a Skyline ... it is not the Skyline GT-R.... Do some searches, there are lots of discussions on the internet about the Skyline GT-R

The difference between the Skyline and the Skyline GT-R is like the difference between a 330i and an M3.

Next time, leave the tranny in D (or 4 or 5) and don't mess with it. Also, make sure you turn off the VDC. Even then, a slightly modified turbo Jetta is going to have an advantage.

No doubt. You got owned, bro. Sorry to hear this. It takes some practice to get a hang of manumatic so be patient, and don't be shy to floor your baby. It won't hurt it if you just do it once in a while.

 

By the way, don't get all upset about the Skyline legend and stuff. Just think of your car as a bare bone GTR awaiting for upgrades such as a twin turbo kit.

The G35 is in no way a Skyline like the GT-R...Nobody fears our VQ engines, yet...And plenty of Audis and VWs can tear a number of rides a new one...Watch out for those...And maybe stop racing until you put in some more seat time...

It seems the sedan has been detuned quite a bit compared to the coupe and Z. Check out the tech and mods section, there are a lot of tips there for how to get much better performance for not much money. Top of my wish list are Technosquare ECU and CAI.

 

Time for new jets and a refill on my bottle. Today a GT Mustang got OWNED and yesterday a Camaro Z28. I didn't hit the juice until 3rd. He was probably squeezing, as previously mentioned. Oh yeah last weekend I ruined a 350Z on Las Vegas Blvd. He knew I was good competition, but didn't know I had nitrous. I love it. Just an idea for you.

 

The 1.8 Jetta Turbo can make 250 WHP with $2,500 of simple, bolt on mods. Given several hundred lbs less weight than your G, and perhaps similar HP, they can be real sleepers. Never take turbo cars for granted. Low cost mods can make them screamers.

while the G is a fast car no doubt, it is not the end all of cars. There will always be something out there faster.

Like Racerx said don't underestimate turbo cars. they can be made fast for just a few dollars. Although that 1.8 turbo jetta smoked you, you can have piece of mind knowing that his car with less than 30,000 miles will be rotting away in his driveway with a blown engine while you will be cruisin with your VQ motor past 150,000.
