one more question:

How deep are the projector housings? are they deep enough that you have to make mods to the back of the headlights so that the covers can fit back on?

No, mine fit just as before. I would have gotten different shrouds and pushed them out more to make them fit. There was no way I was going to space out the back of my housings.

cool. I just bought some TSX projectors on EBay. I'll probably get them next week. Now, I need to find some shrouds.

Thanks for all the info!

Your halos look sweet on the blacked out housing. Looks like they're floating!

Update:

So I have had them for a little bit now with no problems. They still look great!

I did change from the 5000k phillips bulbs to my other 6000k Phillips Ultinon's and now they look even better. They have way more color now but lost a little output, still brighter than before.

I just bought threse shrouds for the TSX projectors I just bought. I'm not sure what kind of projectors are in the picture.

What do you think of these shrouds? could be pretty cool.

How do you plan to fit and cut those shrouds? That is going to be quite a task to keep it clean and finished looking.

Good luck!

I think you are talking about mine?

If so, thank you. I will try to get a basic write-up done soon for everyone who wants to try it.

not sure yet, but the top part of the shroud (can't really see it in the pic) goes way back so it should cover the projector. you can see it better in this pic:

Interesting...

Since you will have to cut off most of the sides I am very curious to see how these come out. They will be different for sure!

Good luck.
