when i managed to find the cruise control cancel button. i'm glad you're laughing. it was funny. you should try to find that button on an 03-04 (no lighted steering wheel controls) while swerving out of the way of a blacked out stalled car at 4 in the morning...

cruise control turns off if you tap the brakes or shift into neutral

i had just put stage 2 brakes on the car three days before the accident. i didnt want to test them out.

and you dont think about shifting into neutral in a 5AT at 65+mph

Well taping your brakes is not exactly testing them out, would just turn off your CC before even engaging the brakes, I was just letting you know for future reference incase your next car doesn't have a lighted CC button.

Any idea on your next ride?

I was almost in a same kind of slide the other day doing 80 mph when some dumb shiet appeared out of no where doing over 100 mph. Luckily i was able to save the car. I couldn't believe how balanced the car was at that speed going sideways (off course with some minor suspension upgrades).

Hindsight is 20/20. Sorry about the accident. I'm also sorry people give advice AFTER the fact. It's easier to criticize someones actions and bring up scenarios as if the victim planned the situations ahead of time. It was early in the morning, he had cruise control on, an idiot was stopped in the middle of the road. Give the guy a break. There's a reason it's called an "accident"

Sammy350GT-
I'm glad you're ok nonetheless. If the car is totaled, maybe insurance could help get you an 07?
