I just got off the phone with a sales advisor from Vortech. Went on their site & got there cust svc #.. YES, they do make a super charger for the rev-up engines, & YES... it will fit on the sedan. $5,495 (polished). I'm pretty sure he said an extra 130hp @ the crank @ 8lbs. of boost. Their is a picture of a Z on their website with a Kinetix SSV plenum & Vortech set up. Not a super clean picture as far as angle but it looked pretty impressive. I think from what I've heard, Stillen's super charger makes more power... but that thing is so damn FUGLY.. !! I'm a Stillen fan, but an engine needs to look "sweet" also. Damn $6k for a Vortech system..?? If i'd be spending that much, I might as well go TT for a couple K more.... anyones thoughts on all this..??? See ya

Well, on their website (Vortech) it says that the supercharger for the G's & Z's are good for up to 600 - 800hp. But when they put together a package, it's built for safe OEM levels. Basically, just bolt it on & go. But if you do other engine mods like internals.... you'll smoke the tires all the way down the track

Cool

geez talk about opening a can of worms!! i just wanted some simple advice, what i got was a full out lesson. lol nah it's cool though. The more I know the better...because knowing is half the battle. I think in the end i'm gonna pop on the stage two. i would go higher like stage 3+ but I wanna pass my emmisions. besides i have the stillen headers/intake/exhaust and will be gettin the test pipes soon. (I'll will have to swap my cats back on every time I have to emission test my car but whatever.) Any thoughts about the total set up and how great or sorry that will turn out?

You don't want headers, high flow cats, or test pipes with the stillen. You will loose power and run lean. The roots blower needs more back pressure to work. I tried high flow cats with mine and lost a few HP. If you are going with the Stillen put your stock stuff back on and sell those.

really? i didn't know that. well hell i don't know a lot. lol i am still learning. but this is good. i wondered if goin all out was really a good thing. why would my car lose power though? would i be able to keep the headers/ pipes with any other s/c? i can see the running lean part. that makes sense.

I just got off the phone with stillen and the only thing that is holding up the 05-06 SC is the hood. They are in the procees of making one. Once that is complete the SC will be available.
