Going in for an oil change BUT...

Alright, so, I've got an '03. This is the first time I've visited the dealership (bought the car used). I was wondering what recalls or anything else to be on the lookout for or ask about. I've heard something about ECU changes for better shifting as one...

yeah they have it all on records for the recalls.... I didn't have any to do, since it was already done by the previous owner. But yeah I'm having them look at some rattles and asked them to check out the tranny delay. I'll see what they say and if they are able to fix it.

the dealership should be looking at the cars history to see what recalls were performed or not performed.

If the fuel hose recall was not performed, they are liable to perform it if they check and find out that it wasnt done.

In case the fuel hose recall has not been performed on your car, make sure you have less than a half-tank of gas when you take it in. Otherwise they can't do it.

Have a look HERE for all info on TSB's and recalls......

When you go in for the o/c, ask the technician if he knows of any others....
