I know many of you love the aero kit, specifically the front bumper, and I use to love it too. I still think it looks great, but I think it's so played out now, that I prefer the stock more.

I hate it when somebody comes on this board with pics of their stock 03/04's and the most common comments are to tint, lower and get the aero. Why? So it looks like the rest of the cars on this board?

Btw, I don't mind getting flamed, this is just my opinion.

when you post pics of your car, you should expect comments and opinions. You can choose to ignore them or take them as a constructive critism. In the end, it's your car and you can do what you want with it.

I agree the Nismo is quite popular on this board. But are they in the area where you live? That's what matters to me.

Yea I understand that in a certain community, you won't even find G35's. But as a site, I think it's played out on here. I still think it looks great, but I wouldn't recommend every stock G owner to get one. (plus people don't know whether that person has many g's in their area)

 

well...i personally hate the 03-04 front bumper...and the nismo aero kit is so sleek, a little like the 05-06 front...not to flame dieselx, if you think that it's so played out and everyone has it, you are saying that most 03-04 sedans are modded out there...last time I checked, over 98% of the G35 sedan owners keep them stock and have the stock front bumper...so if you say AT MOST 2% of the 03-04 G owners who own the aero kit means played out to you, I have to say you have to get a reality check...

I hear ya brother! I'm in the same boat!

 

Keep in mind this forum is filled with enthusiasts who would be more likely to spring for the aero body kit. So there is a dissportionate amount of people with aero kits on this board which might make it seem like they are everywhere. Out on the road in my area there I see several G35's during the day but I rarely if ever see one with the body kit.

IMO the stock kit is the best looking one out there. most of the others look like acura integra reject kits

I think the factory bumper looks like crap. I bought my car with the Aero Kit from the showroom floor, and I am so glad I did. It totally changes the look of the sedan. I also think it looks better than most of the aftermarket ones, because it flows better with the design of the car. Not many people around me have the aero bumper, and I could care less how many people on the forum have it.
