sway install arrrrggg
so I installed my sways that were sitting in the garage after work today...
the fronts were easy, too easy....
but when I got to the rears, both nuts connecting sway bar to link were stripped!!
I also found that one of the engine splash guards that connect to the wheel well is gone.
It makes me wonder what the service people at infiniti are doing sometimes!
anyone have any advice on how to take this nut off? Might just end up taking it to a shop

Go to Sears or any hardware store. They should sell these things that go over the stripped bolt, but make sure you have the right socket size to support them. Basically, you put them over the stripped bolt head and they cut into and grab the bolt and then you take your ratchet and correct socket and take them out like normal. Happened to me when I was doing my exhaust.
As Dan_K said you need something like this.

I would recommend anyone working on your own car get a full set of metric 6 point sockets. There is a much less chance of stripping out the heads with a 6 point socket.

It took me 3 hours to get the screw off. I ended up unbolting the links from the suspension, and taking the whole assembly out with the sways.
I don't know why I didnt do that earlier. I PB Blasted that bastard nut, then torched it, and used the easy out. Eventually it came off lol.
And thank god for Performance Nissan, they had replacement nuts in stock lol.
The rear sways are now on.
The Progress Technology sways barely fit the rears; it's a very very tight fitment around the midpipe. The front is perfect.
I love the feel!
