Noise from window when up from molding contact

I have an 06 35X and have had this issue for a while. When the windows are ALL the way up, I hear a tick? noise? (not sure how to describe it) when hitting bumps from the passenger window. This is not one of the "in-the-door" noises I have seen mentioned in other posts. This is definitely coming from the top of the window, where it hits the molding. Take the window down past the molding and it stops. The drivers side will do it once in a while. I know I isolated where it was coming from right becuase I can push the molding from the inside and make the noise happen.

Having been at this a while, I tried the old-fashioned silicone spray routine but that does not seem to work because the molding is pretty hard actually. Almost plastic-ish.

Anyway, any other suggestions? It is really pretty annyoing when the rest of the interior is mostly quiet.

Thanks,

BJBBJB

There's TSB for that. infinitihelp.com if I am not mistaken.
I didn't do it, but spraying of silicone lube inside the window frame helped-not sure for how long.
TSB call for application of felt tape inside the rubber molding, which goes along the window frame.

Thanks for the thoughts. Silicone did not help for me so I'll hunt for the TSB.

I had a noise like this coming from my passenger side, seemed to stop with the window down slightly, but, it turned out to be the armrest, if I touched the armrest it stopped, I guess, the window being up and tight changed something in the position of the door panel.
