should i just go ahead and replace brakes or bitch some more?

ok, i have 25k miles on my brakes and they are squeaking every fuc*ing morning! sometimes in the middle of the day too. yeah it goes away after i hit them a few times, but this is really stupid on a car of this caliber.

so do i keep taking it in and bitch about it, and see if they take care of it, or do i bite the bullet and get new pads, and maybe rotors too?

any recommendations on pads and rotors? costs? thanks.

Are you pass the 3 yr warranty? I'm at the same cross-roads.. past the 3yr - 36k mile brake warranty. Starts to squeak... I only have 33k on mine. Oh well... I bit the bullet and got DBA's xd/sl rotors and Hawk pads. Will install them when they really start to squeak... Right now they squeak intermittently... you never know when.. but it does just now and then... Very annoying....

i'd suggest keep bitching about it... at least 1 or 2 more times.

+1. so I heard. My car has 18K miles and they are in good shape. I just had the brake maintenance done a few months ago. I'm always downshifting also, so that helps the brakes quite a bit. I would take it back to the dealer and have them serviced.

you should keep complaining.

Best Scenario: You get them serviced and save money
Worst Case Scenario: they won't fix it and you still have to pay for them.

Talking

I have the '04 and my brakes are warrantied for 60K(whatever that is in miles).
I can't believe they only turned your rotors instead of replacing them after they we're warped.Go back and demand proper service, make a scene and make sure other clients hear you.Thats like finger nails on a blackboard to the clowns.

well. i think i'll have to go back and make more noise.....like my brakes do. due for an oil change in a few more miles. i'll see if i can kill two birds with one stone. and i'm going to have them look at the compression rod bushings again, because the front end creaking is bu***hit too.
