+1 on that...it reminded me of the corolla S also...damn!!

 

It was slated to have the next gen 3.5VQ all along.

 

LOL...WAt does that " RED S" mean anyway. Who in their right mind would put that on this caliber of a car. I had a sickening feeling in my gutz when i saw that Sh*t

 

The "S" designates "Sport Model". If I recall the TL Type S has an S on the back as well.

 

The front looks nice, so does the side. The rear has a lot to fix. The chrome thing on top of the trunk? Waa??? The red "S"? The shelf between the trunk lid and bumper?? Waaaa?

Interior is nice and in-line with the rest of Infiniti -M's & Q's. It's about time that the dampers are put for the hood. And the oil dipstick was moved to something useable - although I can get my 06' sedan's dipstick in and out, w-out a flashlight.

On final thought, I am glad I have my '06 G35 sedan. Overall I still like the '06 better - bugs seem to have been shaken out over the years. Which leads me to think, I would never get a release 1.0 of any product or a makeover as extensive as the '07. My bet, it's going to be buggy for the first year.

the red S was one of the things i hated when i first saw the car immediatly reminded me of a corolla
i might be alone on this but the purple gauges remind me of the current gen. of civics
also the volume and ac ***** look cheap, they should have put aluminum trip around em like the current G's

 

Really digging the interior and the dual intake.

 

I think it's hot and all, but it reminds me too much of the M.

BTW, spoiler and the "s" is ghey.

 

it is supposed to remind you of the m... they are acheiving brand identity. same headlights, grill, styling cues, etc...

infiniti is taking a page out of bmw's, mercedes', audi's, and lexus' book. what i thought infiniti was going to do was rewrite the book, but they just fell in line (with out a turbo like they are all going to).

and the purple lights, that's what you get when thousands of people say,'i don't like the orange (and everybody else uses blue, and too many indicators are already green and red). which color would you prefer?

unfortunately, i'm no where near sold. waiting for the next model (hopefully my 04 will last that long), or the coupe, which ever comes first.

 

I'm shocked Infiniti is keeping the chrome rear spoiler. I have not heard of anyone that likes it, so I ws hoping it would get nixed for the production models....guess not.

 

yeah, i dont like the spoiler either. but the rest of the car looks sick...some aftermarket rims will do just right, a diff color possibly black, and all good. i still like the interior, looks like they went str8 for luxory this time.

but if i were to choose this over the M35...M35 all the way, i'd gladly put up a few more G's (no pun intended) up for the M35. mmmmmm....m35.

 

Looks great in that color! Thanks for the pics. I can't wait to see one in person. Some of the lines don't look that great at certain angles but you can say the same thing about the current G35. However, that rear spoiler doesn't look right at any angle. It looks like you are stuck with it on the sport model. It would be nice to be able to delete it and to have that chrome lip painted. I would also put the floss to the 'S' because the G35 is sporty to begin with so it just seems stupid.

 

not sure how to feel yet. don't really like the spoiler, reminds me of something off of a civic. the "S" looks a little cheezy. center console is cool. the twin intake looks bad a$$!!!

 

i think infiniti messed up big time with this new design. i dont like anything about it.

 

i like the front end, the back looks too..narrow. and that wing is small. i don't like the wing. =)
