My tips now sit fractionally past the bumper.
I see it now. I'm with Chico, I think the aftermarket route would be more dramatic.

Oh I agree. I just didn't find any aftermarket tips I want yet nor am I willing to spend $80 on tips right now. I just wanted to see if there was a difference if I pushed the tips out a bit.

It's nothing special. It's just the premuim electrical contractor tape ($4 roll) you can find at Lowes/Home Depot. It comes in a plastic case and the tape is more resistant to UV and heat/cold.

i took a page from your electrical tape idea, i went to lowes and i couldnt find a wide enough tape (all were reg size about 1/2") so i got some black vinyl, 3$ and 20 minutes later my door handles are blacked thanx for the idea i was considering painting them but this way is cheaper, faster and if i get tired of it i just peel them off

No kit is on the car. I think it's just picture angle and the flat grade of my driveway which gives the car a decent stance. I think the rear 3/4 view looking forward is by far the best angle of the G sedan. The outside lighting at the time made a difference too and toned down the lower charcoal black plastic. I somewhat agree about the style of 05/06s when seen from the side. I think it's the side sills. The 05/06 sills appear to curve more into the underside of body and make the car look slightly thinner and taller. The side sills on the 03/04 seem be very straight and blocky giving the car a slightly lower look. When the 03/04 sills are painted (which I'll be doing myself shortly), the look is even lower.

With that said, put springs on an 05/06 with the 18" Sport rims and the car looks amazing. Especially in white and desert sand. I'd be VERY happy with an 05/06.
