Thinking of ordering a G35X
Re: Thinking of ordering a G35X
My salesman estimated $1500, since that is the cost on the FX35 and it is a similar system. He figured at worst $2000. I think the bigger question may be whether the dealers will discount the car off MSRP as much as the regular G35 since the "x" will likely be a hot property at first. Hell of a Christmas present! But will it fit under the tree?
Re: Thinking of ordering a G35X
Sorry I do not know the cost. Yeah the salesman wants to get paid before Xmas. Shop around, I would ask a salesman at another dealer the price. I don't think its on the Infiniti website either.

Grubbs (an Infiniti dealer that's received exceptional kudos) on the Fresh Alloy forum, is offering a one day only (10/22)sale on the X. Check it out. And if you miss it today, I'm willing to bet they'd still work you into a good deal.
Re: Thinking of ordering a G35X
First, the AWD option cost is $1800 list (about 91% of that, invoice). If your actually ordering a car and not getting one the dealer has on order already, your much too late. The "V" orders, for early December delivery, went in Sept. 8th. The "W" orders for early January delivery went in the first week of October. Mine was a V order, but Infiniti is not building any Caribbean blue or Garnet Fire sedans in October, so I now have a W order number. I'm paying $1000 over invoice (G35X with sunroof ~$31500).
Re: Thinking of ordering a G35X
Ordered mine 3 weeks ago. Will get it with the Dec. shipment. expect to pay $1800 for the option. Pricing discounts are uncertain but be prepared to pay MSRP. Drive a G35 all year round. Check out some of the other posts about winter driving. Seems you may as well have a winter car in addition to the RWD sedan.
