350z springs on my 06 sedan

I want to get the unrevised 350z springs on my sedan. However does anyone know which year the car was produced with the unrevised?? my friend has an 05 350z with his springs sitting around in the garage. would i still be able to use that to lower my G??

they say its the 03-04 (not the 4.5 though) 350z's that have the same spring rate as ours.

*EDITED*

Just installed revised springs this past weekend on my '06 sedan. The only difference is the rear spring rate (its higher on the revised). I don't notice much handling difference and the revised should keep the back up just a little more than the unrevised to help balance the front and rear fender gaps.

WARNING - Thread Hi-Jack

I've got the chance to get my hands on a set of 2007 350Z springs and shocks -

Will I have any problems with these on my 06 Sedan? Springs I have now are 04 Unrevised....

Do you have the sports suspension on your Sedan? The unrevised springs will have the same spring rate and give you a 1" drop, the 05 springs are revised springs and the rears have a differentspring rate 427 vs 342 I beleive. I have read that its not a good idea to put them unrevised/revised on the non-sport sedan...not sure why unless its a shock wear issue. Can someone verify the non-sport spring issue?

Not unless you get the ones with the higher spring rate. There are two spring rates. If you don't have sport suspension you need better shocks like Tokico D-specs (about $600). Even if you have the sport and you get the higher spring rates you need the D-specs (G d-specs have the same valving as the 350z d-specs).

Agreed. Next to oem 03/04 Z shocks, oem sedan non sport shocks have the poorest valving and would not partner so well with stiffer springs. The lone exception that comes to mind would be Eibach pro-kit springs because they were specifically developed on a non sport suspended sedan.

Keep in mind that I do have seat time in a non sport sedan that I had for a week as a loaner for the soul purpose of checking out the that suspension (cause I made sure I was given a non sport), so I'm not just commenting just because of specs.

Gsedan35...would you recommend then going with the Eibach pro-kit springs or swaping out the shocks and going with the unrevised for a non sport. I've heard mixed reviews on the pro-kit.

As someone that had the Eibach Pro Kit springs I am telling you that if you want the eibachs you will need to invest in a camber kit to be safe. They are not cheap you will need a front and rear camber kit the front alone is $400.00 the rear is $200.00 I had to replace my tires after about 7 months of use with my eibachs my tires wore down to the steel belting. Your best bet is to get the 350z springs but replace your shocks with some from someone else on the board that replaced theirs or get the D specs it's cheaper than buying camber kits.
