A full inside/outside detail will take me that long with one coat of wax so just figure a couple more hours for the other two. Just make sure and use the ZFX accelerator if you plan on doing more than one coat at a time.

The initial work takes a bit of effort, but its easier to maintain after and the look is amazing.

about how many waxes do you guys think you can get out of that ultimate zaino kit?
Kinda of expensive, but right now I am using Klasse wax and polish. $20 for a bottle and its a small bottle, and I have been wanting to try something new so this is probably the time.

I can get a full wax out of 1oz of Zaino.
The most expensive part is the ZFX which will only do about 4-5oz. But the good news is you don't need it if you are only doing one coat at a time. It's just for if you are doing 2-3 coats in a day which is nice for the first time but after that it's just overkill.

When I wax, I use terry towels. Fold it up, drip some wax on it and start doing the panel. I usually put enough wax on a towel to get a decent layer of wax on the paint. Its not caked on, but to me, it seems like I use quiet a bit for the whole car, definatley a couple of oz's. Is there a better method than what I am doing. I use about two terry towels applying the wax, 2 to whipe it off, then 1 or 2 for the polish (liquidy substance), then 1 to whipe it off.
I used one of the applicators I got from Zaino. They are like a sponge with a terry towel on the outside. I have never looked before to see how much I use but with the ZFX kit you put the wax in a 2oz bottle and then add drops of the ZFX so I was able to judge how much I used.
To be honest, even if I was using 2oz per coat I would be happy with the results and price. The stuff is not that expensive for the quality of what you geting but the quantities are small. I was shocked when I saw how small the car wash was but when you only use ~3-4 caps each wash (like it says) it lasts for a while. I got two with my first order to be safe since I know I will use them and the shipping is a lot if you only get a couple items.

I'll take some. Under idle there is no sound, maybe a tiny bit from the extra belts but nothing you would notice from a sound clip. The Vortech has a lot of idle noise.Originally Posted by andycon

Yes, you should wax the resin anyway. Even better if you want to keep it unpainted then have a body shop put a couple coats of clear on it. Then Zaino.
