One day I brought my G in to get the windshield replaced, and wouldn't you believe it, instead of putting me in another Infiniti, they put me in a Focus, Ford Focus that is! Needless to say I was a little heated. I tell the guy, "I thought you guys always put your customers in infinitis?" He informs me that unfortunately they didn't have any on the lot that I could have because they were all out.
So just a word to the wise, it's not guaranteed that you will always have an Infiniti as a loaner. It's pending on availablity.

"Geez" they could have at least put you in a comparable car, which a focus is not, next time set the appointment up when they can assure of a better loaner car.

Just because you make an appointment doesn't mean they will have a loaner. I made an appointment with Miller Infiniti - once I got there they told me they were all out of Infiniti loaners - so they had Enterprise rental pick me up. Enterprise gave me a Buick - their luxurious car. To sum it all up, I couldn't wait to get back in my G.
You have to make sure you tell them you want a loaner, of course. When I had to stop in during an "emergency", my sales guy actually gave me his demo for the time I was out of my G... said he didn't want me to have to drive around in a crappy car for a week. When I stopped in with an appointment for a loaner, they actually didn't have one, as someone hadn't returned theirs. The manager gave me his loaded FX until they could put me in a proper loaner. There's a difference between just doing your job, and going above and beyond the call of duty. THAT earns my respect.

I am new to Infinit, but have heard a lot of good about my dealer and their service, so we'll see! Did he give you an FX45? LOL!

in all reality be thankful they had a car at all for you
I am tired of riding in the courtesy van at the dodge dealer (grand caravan)
Just consider it a beater and thank your luck stars they thought about it to have anything for you
Have a healthy day!

The loaner car is a part of the warranty, not sure if it's after the warranty is up or not, so there better not be a van taking anyone!

I took my car in for an oil change and I got a G35 sedan, but they charged me $4.00 for "car loaner processing fee"????

That's not bad, but I thought it was "no charge" guess we have to read the fine print better!

yeah, $4 isn't so bad. i just assumed all infiniti dealers supplied free loaners like mine. i guess i should've known better when the dealer kept emphasizing the fact that they give free loaners and saturday carwashes.

My dealer said the same thing, free loaners, as long as you make an appointment, said nothing about "minimal time" or anything! I know they have the cars, I see them all over the place with their website on the back window!

haha oh no. is that a bad sign when all you see people driving are dealer loaners and not their actual cars?
yeah loaner availability varies. but so far, *knock on infiniti genuine wood trim* (lol that's for you, ABQ ), i've been put in the FX and sedan. no ford focus... hopefully.
