I would suggest getting a AEM DRYFLOW filter tho. The Dry filters do not have oil on them. The oil in the filters are known for dirty'ing up your MAF which overtime will result in poor A/F, hindered performance and gas milege. The Stillen intake comes with a K&N oiled filter. I have one, and I am about to replace my Stillen filter with a AEM Dry filter. I will also clean my MAF. It seems that the Oil filters are just do free flowing or just not consistant with there flow.

What size filter did you get and where? I just started looking into one of these too. Have you test fit it yet? The ones I keep finding don't taper down like the K&N with the Stillen so I need to find one that will fit in there.

I forgot the thread, but if you search for "AEM dryflow universal" - something like that

it fits the JWT Popcharger, and I know that Stillens and JWT's are identicle in size. I have not tried it on my stillen airbox yet

OK, I'll just go measure mine and see what I can find. They seem to make them in every size.

yea you can clean it. the problem is that some of the oil on the K&N gets sucked onto your MAF sensor...which causes problems

basically, the K&N's increased flow may actually be detremental to both your motors life and performance.

I believe it is the 5" long, 5" inlet but I am going to take mine off and measure it later today so I can order one. It's time to clean my filter anyway and I would have needed to buy a cleaner kit. Why not get a new filter instead.

You will be fine with an intake, exhaust and spacer. It will be a little lean but the ECU can correct that. I would reset it after each mod. You may run into problems if you start adding headers and test pipes.

You can do that or there is a procedure HERE.

Some people have had problems getting it to work. I have done it ~20+ times and never had it not work on the 1st try.
