I get my G35 Sedan tonight!!!
I am coming off owning 4 mustangs, last was an 03 Cobra putting down a little over 400rwhp. I want to mod this car a little, but man am I lost. I need some help guys. I would like to close the fender gap, with a nice set of lowering springs, what should i get? What intake? What are some easy power gains with these cars? Can you get a chip or tuner for the car. Thanks guys.

Amazing Cobra. I love the FR500s. The car deseperately needed a drop though. Why did yours look like it's riding so high? Were the tires lower profile than stock? The 03-04 Cobras usually have a decent stance.
As for mods, use the search function.
1" drop. 350Z springs in the front, coupe springs in the rear. Used cost = $100
Don't ask.
None are easy. You're best bet is a plenum spacer (10whp/10wtq). After that it gets very expensive.
Yes. ECU flashes or piggyback ECU are available.
Here's the 1" Z/coupe drop on my 03:

Welcome and congrats!!!!
Springs:
350Z unrevised (older) will get you ~1" drop. Eibach/H&R/Tein will get you a little more.
Power: (here are the choices I would consider)
Plenum spacer (motordyne)
Intake (Stillen, Injen, Jim Wolf)
Intake tube if you don't get the Injen (Stillen or oem 350Z)
Exhaust (Borla, Stillen)
Pulleys (Unorthodox Racing) **Don't get these if you plan on a supercharger.
Those are the easy bolt-on N/A mods. There are lots more but require more work.

Thanks guys, the Cobra was fun and I love that car but just wasnt practical. I know it needed a drop, the H&R springs were sold with the car, i never had the time to install them. I am loving the rental G they gave me so far. DaveB...nice drop!!!
What are some websites to find good prices on these parts?

Worst thing I ever did was trade my 04 GT for a G. The radio is a POS and PITA to change out. Power adders for the Rev-UP are either NOS, crazy expensive or non-existant. The VCD is crap and it gets shi**y mileage for a V6.
But it does have 4 real seats, as long as everyone is not 6 feet tall.
At least I have my 72 vert with a 351c.

TTRANK-where can i get smoked side markers, and tail light overlays like the Cobra had?

We all get the overlays from BlueBatMobile, he is a vendor on this forum. I have the GTR tails and side marker tint from him.
Just use the link in his signature.

You will also want clear side markers:

I emailed Mr A at VRT last week.He told me they just finished a G35X,their first one.It was quite the challenge and project, but worth it he said.If they can do the X a rear wheel sedan should be gravy.
