Rattles in the 06?
Hey Guys,
Just got my G35 Sedan (just hot 500 miles) and am seeing a lot of posts around the net about rattles and noise, etc. I saw one person reference a recall of some sort where it tells the dealer how to fix the rear door with a new bolt. My question is this: Are any of you experiencing this with a 2006 model? Either the doors, console, dash, etc? The documented said it applied to 2005 and below models but could be an old doc.
Anyway. if it is an issue, what are the early signs and should I just head back to the dealer and give them crap about it now?![Smilie](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks,
Chris

if i were u, i'd get through the breakin first, then worry about rattles. main reason i say that is that u don't want the techs beating on ur car that early.
i have the '06 sedan and i have some rattles. watch out for a ticking sound from the front windshield (passenger side). my center console area squeaks on roads that aren't absolutely flat. the clock area was pretty bad too but they fixed that. i'm going back in before the month is over to get another round of rattle-fixing done.
good luck!

03,04,05,05 it's the same car with the same problem in all of them . Then you take it in for service like and and others here for the same answer " what rattels". Just keep on the problem with the techs and hopefully they will fix it the first time so you can fully enjoy your G, or you can go on the freeway roll down the windows and crank up the music !! I just hope that they fix the problem with the new 2007 !!!

I usually get info on rattles and recalls from this site:
http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi...5/Diagnose.htm
Its been helpful when I have a problem with the car...and the dealer can't replicate the problem. I print out the TSB and bring it to them, and they fix it no questions asked.
Hope this helps. Cheers.

If you saw my other thread you know I got rattles. One from the sun roof, one from the rear passenger door and a creek form the rear deck. My car barely has 2500 miles. Today for some reason my car was pretty quite, but it was probably because I couldn't hear them with the window down and wind noise.
