First Race in the new G35

I have a stock 06 5at sedan, and raced my boss in his 04 coupe 5at. I pulled ahead right off the line, 1 car and was pulling a little bit more up to 80. I probably got him by a 1 1/2 maybe 2 cars. First race in the G so I thought I better post it up. Let the modding begin!!!!!

It's always good to stick it to the man. BTW, the sedan is lighter than the coupe.

Also yours is new and the notorious "granny mode" hasn't kicked in yet.

Sounds like it came down to weight. How fat is your boss? Or maybe he doesn't know how to drive auto. LOL!

Blah...if that's tbe case then why has my stock 03 5AT sedan run consistent 14.3-14.4s@97-98mph. If this "granny" mode were true then my car should run 14.1s stock

When you don't drive your car hard (or feed it low octane gas)it seems to be more sluggish. It can be corrected by resetting the ECU. Don't let someone tell you it doesn't work; try it for yourself.
