Why do I bother to DIY???

I just did this mod as well - the one thing I did differently from the DIY posted by Andy2434 was that I did not trim off as much plastic. In fact, I used the upright edge as a guide and cut on the outside of it, leaving the upright edge to butt up against the metal trim of the car...thus being able to use the molding to secure it. It took some time to wiggle the modling to sandwich both the metal trim and the plastic cover, but it was worth it...it's a really tight fit.
Easy install...took 15 mins. max.

Thanks... I just slapped a stoopid sticker on my forehead for you guys.
Back in 2004 I bought a cover that was already customized for a perfect fit. Took less than 5 minutes to install. The link doesn't seem to work today but the domain is still active. Maybe someone knows what happened to the owner & if he is still around....(paid $80)
