I got a 2004 G35x recently. Great car, except it feels really hot inside. Also, there's a lot of heat coming from the sides of the car.. is that normal? A friend of mine came towards my window to hand me something and asked why I had the heat on so high, when in fact the heat wasn't even on lol. Is that kind of heat from the side normal for this car?

this is perfectly normal. i cant have people stand outside the car for too long because their legs start burning up. ionno why this happens to our car...time to start some detective work..lol

yeah i must have that option to haha. It seems like a handful of people have had this issue. Doesn't seem to hurt anything so i just left it alone.

Its normal, don't worry, this car makes a lot of heat from underneath.

 

That heat is the normal buildup you get during re-entry into a subdivision when coming off the highway.

 

The heat is from when you are at a stop and the radiator fans kick in. This starts blowing alot of hot air and as a result some of it comes out from underneath the car and to the sides. That's why you'll feel it on your legs.
