I'm just curious but are you auto or manual? I'm at 34k right now with my 5AT coupe..and sometimes im worried about driving it hard.

16.5 mpg is about right with an auto. I get 18mpg on average just driving city and freeway mix. I also have a heavy foot.

I've put 18 gallons in a few times. When the orange light comes on, you have about 4 gallons in the reserve. Depending on MPG, you can go about 80 miles with the light on.

Sorry to see the warranty go. It is always nice knowing if something takes a crap the dealer will fix it. I just hit 12 K in my 06, I have till 02/10.

I was surprised by the horrendous gas mileage on my G. I had the worst model in that respect, an X. But I've had Subaru and Volvo (300 hp) cars with much better mileage. Not sure went wrong with Infiniti here........Hell, my Charger SRT8, with 425 hp gets better mileage than the G. Not good.

24mpg 70% city driving. I get about 400 miles from 17.5 gallons almost everytime I fill up the G. 6mt so I am not sure if that makes any difference.
