Wow this is a great car, today i finally hit 1200 miles in 2 weeks, and this car screams. this is the best car i have ever had. so far i have had nothing but good looks, and comments from people about this car. Last night a guy in his E36 M3 gave me a thumbs up on my car. Wow i love this car. Sorry i am guess i am kinda a little over enthused about this car, its just that i just came from a 2002 Altima 2.5s auto "RIP", to this car, you do have to admit this G35 is a big step up..

Congratulations! Most of us feel the same way you do about our G's. I traded up from a Jeep Wrangler, so I can definately share your enthusiam. It's a very different beast!

did you guys really follow the rules for 1200 miles period ? I did hit 70-80 mph on the 1st day.... Hope I didn't ruin the car. I guess I will drive moderately until i hit 1200 miles.....

 

It doesn't say anything about that speed, it says to not keep it at a constant high speed, and to not exceed 4000 RPM, you should be okay IMO, so long as you haven't been racing the car! [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

You think you're happy? I went from a Geo Prism to the G, man talk about night and day! Like going from chopped liver to filet mignon. Sometimes it still surprises me how much power this car has, plus the handling is superb.

yeah.. i came from a 95 honda accord.. but it was fixed up a lot.. i put in at least 7gs in that car.. but not the same as a brand new G35. i passed the 1200 break in. now its time to do some modding..

Well I traded from a 2003 Acura TL-S I saw the G35 Coupe and I said to myself I have to get that car. So now it's in my garage just begging to be driven. I hit 140mph beating up on an RX8 at about 700 miles in the break in period never went past 100 after that. The car is sweet the wife and kids loves it. My neighbor just bought a 03 Mustang and when I pulled into my driveway in my new G his jaw dropped. He walked up to me and said when the hell did this thing come out? It was funny you guys should have seen his face it was priceless...LOL!
