So i test drove the new G35 tonight.

Extremely impressive!!

The engine was extremely strong- VERY good low-end torque. Pulls to the end thankfully (was worried when i saw peak power was a ways from redline).

The handling was most impressive. I test drove a sport model and I must say- those that think the suspension is too stiff haven't been in many sports cars! The suspension has a very good balance IMO perfect for a sports sedan. Steering is very nice at speed, but the ratio is too slow when at lower speeds (parking lots, etc).

Interior was very very very good. Such a huge improvement over the first gen G's. The entire layout was perfect, gauges are great, the aluminum trim had that great texture that fit very well for the interior. Overall everything is an improvement.

Overall I must say this is a STEAL for this car at it's price range. It's fast, has a fantastic suspension, interior is extremely impressive and it looks great. My parents own a new M45 and the G35 is only a step down in 3 things- some interior materials, space, and price

 

Thanks for sharing. If I get a chace I will probably test drive the new G too.

 

No offense, but this is like the 100th new thread (okay, maybe there aren't that many) sharing stories of the new G & their test drive.....

Just found it odd that he's been on here that long & hasn't posted until now....
