I was under the impression that all maintenence for the term of the warranty was included free of charge. I recently received a coupon book for discounts on service at my 7500 mile scheduled service. What up with that?

Where'd you get the idea that all maintanence was free of charge? It isn't. The only thing that's free are the coffee & donuts while you wait and the carwash.

Just for reference, BMW provides free maintanence... and the service interval is 15,000 miles. So they give you 3 free oil changes.. woohoo. Big savings.

Sorry to tell you this dude. No free service on Infinity. BMW and Mercedes have it if you want to try it. Personally, I don't think it makes a difference. Basically, they are all just oil change. In Mercedes and BMW's cases, you get four free oil changes and three oil changes respectively.

I agree, I also looked at the Jaguar X-Type, and all scheduled maintenance was included, oil change at 10k, so no huge saving there either! [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]

Funny thing is, and the reason I asked is because they didn't charge me anything at the first oil change...maybe they forgot to ask for the money? I guess I'll just keep changing my own oil...I didn't like the fact they use Quaker State anyway.

Some dealers do a complimentary oil change the first time, maybe that's what you got, funny they didn't mention it though huh? Damn these cars look nice!!!
