Quest For The M35 Sport Wheel - PITA!!!!!!!!!

I've been searching these wheels and I swear I'm jinxed!!

1) There was this guy selling them. I pm'ed him offering him $1200. He replies, that he wanted $1500. So I told him without hesitating, done, when can I pick them up. No replies for a week. Then he tells me that he wants to ebay them and if they dont hit the reserve, he will let me have them. Ok, I understand, it's his wheels. But what was the point of "wanting $1500" I thought that was his counter offer.... oh well.

2) Another guy has these wheels, he asks for $1400. Done! He asks me for my number and the he'll call me. Still waiting for that call. going on 8 days.

3) A buddy of mine works at a dealership. Tells me that he has the wheels laying around and says that I can have them for $1000. SWEET! DONE! AND DONE! Go down there, takes me 45 mins each way. Wait, WTF? These are the regular M35 wheels. I told him, 19 inch Sport wheels. OH! I just heard M35 wheels. Ok, disappointed?

4)Please note, this is nothing against Chad. Just some of the weenies that work there.

So I woke up this morning early, called Riverside Infinit 8am. Asked for Chad, guy tells me that he isn't there til 9am. I asked him about some M35 sport wheels that were on the website. I told him that if he can let me know cause I was gonig to make a one hour drive down there so I didn't want to waste my time. He said that I had to talk to Chad but the wheels are there. I'm figuring that I had to talk to chad about pricing or what not. So I make the trip out there. BTW, the parts dept is done right for a dealership, the aftermarket parts that were there...you know that the guy knows about aftermarket. Anyways, I asked one of the parts guys if Chad is there, he tells me that he isn't working til Monday. I asked him about the wheels, he tells me that he'll be right back. He comes back out and asks if I can come back @ 12pm. I tell him negative I have to be at work at 10:30. He goes back and comes out ten minutes later and tells me that the wheels are sold. So I ask him, what was the point of asking me to come back at 12pm? Could Imagine how much more pissed I would be if I had to waste three hours out there, only to come back and tell me that the wheels were not available. To tell me then that the wheels were sold?? Hands me the parts manager's card and chad's card, says that I can talk to them on Monday. What am I a baby? Maybe I can sue them? yeah right. I just wished that I could have talked to someone who knew what they were talking about. Considering, all the other let downs, I kinda chuckled to myself. So I left a little pissed mostly disappointed. YET AGAIN!

SO WTF!!!!! Maybe I need to consider another set of wheels. My luck, I get other wheels, and then. WHAM, mass postings for 19" M35 Wheels. And me with no money.

BTW. If you know anyone selling these wheels LET ME KNOW. So I can actually get a set, or add to more of these stories.

That sucks. Why can't people just ask and be sure before they tell you something on the phone? Sorry.

Just buy the tires from riverside online have it shipped. Then again I totally understand that you want a deal for the rims. But looking at the price why not go with aftermarket rims, chad has connections with Mckenzie so he can get a set of volks for you.

the M35/45 sport wheels are so expensive, why, they aren't even rays forged, or are they, i was talkin with this person on ebay and i offered em 900 at most and they had some problems, flat tires that were plugged, curbed, and the person was like i have some lookin to pay 1350 for em, i was like wutever, that is a big no, i will never pay 1400 for banged up, used wheels, especially oem, there is an endless possibility of choice in aftermarket for 1400

You do know that the wheels do not bolt right on. Some Modifitcations must be made b4 you can drive safely with them.

Do you need more than just spacers?

The +50 offset is going to cause problems in tghe front. Also for a set of 4 huncentric 15mm spacers, your looking around $200 ontop of what you paid for the rims. You could go with 5mm spacers and replace the studs, but there's a chance there won't be enough hub to help center the wheel.

+50 is a bit high for the sedan.

A 10mm spacer would help.
