That was 5th gear.
The Stillen damper seems to help keep it in place quite well.

It was 92 degrees in the bay and I discovered my IC tank was almost empty on the last pull so don't hate too much.
First time: 323HP/ 306TQ
We put ice in the tank and ran it again after it had made 3 runs and was heat soaked and made 13HP more but I left the print out there. Final numbers are in the expected range 340/315.
A N/A 350Z came in after me with a 5/16 spacer, HKS Exhaust, and Pop Charger and made 241/232 so I know the numbers are low from the heat.
Good news is it made 280-310ft-lbs @1800rpm and stayed pretty flat until over 6k with the limit at 6500. Very linear band. The average (not peak) HP/TQ is up there with most of the tuned Vortech's and it's way more fun on the street (IMO).

No Texas, I'm in Phoenix, AZ. It was in the mid-high 80's here this weekend.
400whp is not possible with the Stillen kit. The blower is great for low-end power and great average power but you will never see 400 without getting a better, larger blower.

Yes, it is a lot of power and very reliable. I was running Shell 91. Phoenix is awesome this time of year.

The numbers don't seem like much compared to the other kits but that only tells half the story. Peak numbers are great for bragging rights but not always for daily drivers like my car.
It comes down to three options: (1) Spend a ton on a TT kit and you are good to go, (2) Spend a lot less and still have reliable, useable power without revving the crap out of it all the time or (3) getting higher peak numbers and giving up half your power band in lag.
If you drive/race mostly on the freeway the ST/Centrifugal kits are awesome because you are up in that rpm range anyway. Off the line they are not for me and I do a lot of stop-and-go driving. It's a personal choice for what you want a how you drive. I rode in both before getting this kit and have never regretted it.
Please don't turn this into another Stillen vs Vortech thread. If people want to argue lets go do it somewhere else. This is just to show those who have never heard one what a roots blower on a VQ sounds like.
