BINGO! Just the man I want to talk to... can you be more specific regarding the differences? I am willing to toss my 5K Turanza's in favor of a new set of RS-A's if there is an appreciable difference.

'03 came with Bridgestone Turanza EL 42 that now have 39,000 miles on them and are just about done.

Idea: Go back to dealer, see what tires are on the loaner fleet and ask to drive the ones you might be interested in. If you like 'em see if they'll swap.

Did that. They all seem to have the B-stones. They swapped two of them from one of their loaners (after telling me I was getting "new" tires )... those turned out to be worse than the ones that came off.

I've been getting jerked pretty badly by this dealer. I'm going to have the wheels/tires balanced next week by a guy who does work for a racing team. We'll see.

RSA's with 37k and they are not good tires! From the beginning they had no traction and I don't drive erratic or anything. Its too bad the Eagle Assurance Triple Tread doesn't come V-rated!

x2. I had 'em on my Legacy GT. What great tires! To tell you the truth, I'll bet they'd handle the speed in short bursts. Goodyear always rates their rubber conservatively.
