30k service

I got a quote from my dealer for a 30k mile service on my 03.5 sedan 6mt. (I don't drive very much). $300 dollars. In addition to the standard oil change, new oil filter, new air filter, new in cabin air filter and tire rotation they do a fuel injection service. Is the fuel injection cleaning really need? Is this a decent price for 30k service?

You did not state which transmission you have but at 30k you may want to think more about a transmission flush or drain & refill (if its auto), drain & refill of the coolant and also rear differential service. Most 30k mile services have these included but of course the cost is much higher than what you were quoted.

for the 30k, id do a tranny drain and fill, rear diff drain and fill, coolant flush, fuel systems tune up, in cabin air filter, and an oil change if you need it. If they're doing all that for that price, then yes, its good.

Sounds like a great price from a dealer.

That's a very good deal but don't do the fuel injection service, it is not recommended by the factory.

That price is essentially what I was quoted for my 30K service on my Auto. All the recommended Premium services (but no AT flush, just drain/fill). I paid less because I did an oil change a 1000 miles earlier.

i'm 99% sure the G has a timing chain, which never has to be changed. It will last well over 300k miles.

he was prolly talking about the drive and accessory belts. You dont need to replace them unless they're cracking.
