I bought the fuse box adapter to pluged it into a open fuse slot in the panel and mine shuts off with the key. Its like a $12 part that can be bought and the parts store.

I ran new wire up to mine. Can't help with what's up there now.

Did you get a mike's mount for it?

I believe you must have tapped into the constant power vs switched power. Just review invicord's website and look at the install section for the wire color.

I have the escort with the invisicord and mine shuts off with the car. But when I had my '05 it didn't shut off I had to unplug the cord all the time. It could have been me and I tapped into the wrong cord or something.

Here is some install instructions.

Yellow goes to the black with pink stripe mirror wire
Black goes to the black mirror wire

Hope that helps.

well if you think about it...constant power is for the homelink, and the one that shuts off with the car is the auto-dimming mirror feature...make sure you tap into the auto-dimming mirror not the homelink, you should be fine.

if u are getting a lot of false alarms you can use semi logic the the small L or full logic the the big L, I usually use small L and it work great!
