PULLEYS...Whats your opinion?

I am interested in doing some more to my car. Right now I have a Full stillen Exhaust, Dc heads,Stillen intake. (mods for speed) I am interested in getting the Stillen Pulleys and wanted to know if anyone else here has tried it and what they thought. Noticable power gain? and if you have any other bolt on mods that are good please let me know thanks.

Pulleys are fine as long as you don't add any audio equipment like amps that will put extra stress on the alternator.

Power wise I dont think you'll feel much of a difference, unless you have a SC

I have pulley on my Accord with an Infinity basslink and the car runs just fine without problems. If you have a bigger system that'll be a different story. Performance-wise you will notice a difference.

An underdrive pulley would underdrive the SC (ie it would make less boost)

Can we get some real engine gurus in here? I've been deciding on pulleys for sooo long. I heard of possibly engine problems with them, any comments on that?

You don't want to go there. Believe me Do a search and decide for yourself. Most of the org knows where I stand.

I would stay away from them. The gains, which are not much, are not woth the problems you can have. They are good on some cars but the G/Z is not one of them.

As for the SC, it will make less boost and take away power. They can help with a turbo but not enough to make me buy them.

From what I have read from searching, I would say save your money and go witht an intake spacer, if you dont already have one.
