So this week has started out busy and is going to get crazy.

I added a bunch more Second Skin sound reducing material, installed a GT Spec rear lower tie bar and rear lateral bar, just finished a full detail (will post a couple pics when I am at home and can get to photobucket).

Later this week I am changing out my coilovers for KW V2's that came in today, and a Rare JDM rear strut bar. Plus I just found out today that Nitto is sending me a set of 255/35/20 and 275/35/20 NT05's to try out. Just in time too because there is a track day this weekend! Can't wait to see how much different the car is with the new tires, bracing and suspension.

Any reason why you went with eDead rather than any of the others? Did you get asphalt or butyl based? If asphalt, I'd recommend taking out now and replacing with something better. The asphalt based deadener wil melt eventually...especially in a high heat area.

Never mind... edit.

I used Second Skin, not edead. I was going to order more and was looking at edead thinking that was what I used... Found my receipt. LOL

B-Quiet FTW! Lighter than Dynamat a bit less money and deadens as good.

Thank goodness for butyl

I personally don't like the Dynamat, nor do I like their Xtreme. Never used Stinger but I can tell you straight out it's got a 99% chance of being made by another company. They have batteries made by Enersys, which Odyssey uses and so does stinger, just different part names and the Stinger battery costs more. It's just a stupid sticker that makes the price go up.

For a cost effective alternative, look into Rammaat for future deadening. DON'T use Fatmat. It's complete crap. I've messed with some eDead, but not sure which kind it was, but it was so flimsy and thin I'd say it was a waste putting it on. Can't reall which model of eDead it was since they got several. I now only use Second Skin. Absolutely the best stuff, even though it is a little more expensive than others.

I'd also use Cascade, but IIRC they don't make it anymore and I believe it came only in liquid form. I need to deaden my G, but I don't have a grand or so to drop on deadener. I'd rather do performance mod right now anyway, got the bug for that, haha

also, if you are looking for spray application - Lizard Skin (Mascoat) = great thermal and sound deadening properties... I wish someone in So Cal still used it - I would have loved to re-coat my entire intake tract with it (prior to painting)
