Yeah, it's crazy how this became one of the top 10 threads on the forum. It goes to show how we sedan guys are a close group!

Better watch out tim--the "How many sedan owners here are under 35" thread is catching up!!

Which super charger setup did you have, and why did you opt to go TT (other than more power)?

This thread is not as unique and intersting as it was when high power sedans were super rare. It will be passed up soon enough.

I had a Stillen Stage 2/3/4 before the Greddy kit. The only reason was more power. I was at the top with stage 4 and the blower was about out of potential. I like that kit a lot but they should have went with the larger blower and left more room to grow. For a while I was talking back and forth with Stillen's head or R&D about a larger blower but it never became a reality and I got sick of waiting.

Between the two there is no comparason. The TT at the same boost (8psi) made 60hp and 75lb-ft more at the wheels (same dyno) than the Stillen kit with tons of room to grow. By the time I was done I had a good few $k in the kit than the Stillen would have been so I'm not shocked but it goes to show how much more you can get if you use waste to add power instead of taking torque to make power.

good explanation! I'm throwing around the idea of a supercharger vs TT.

I'm only shooting for around 450whp, as I want to keep it as reliable as possible, and it's my daily driver. I'm thinking the TT kit would be perfect for what I'm aiming for, as we all know 450 turns into 500, which turns into 649

Yep it does...

IMO TT is by FAR the best option. Even on a stock block ~400 is a ton and a great kit.

That was a long time ago.

It's been two years since I installed it. Before that it was spacer/CF z-tube and borla. I thought the car was fast as hell back then! LOL
