I am having major traction issues right now. With 275/30/20s on the rear and a 3.3 rear end it still spins through all of first and second. If I could get great traction it should be able to run high 11's. With the existing tires and me driving considering my traction issues I would guess around mid 12's and the low to mid 120's.

That is a complete guess.

The best I ran with the 405whp/399wtq stock block tune it ran a 13.0 at 117. That was the old 3.5 rear end and the same size tires.

3.3 rear end... That means you extended the gears right?

You need some slicks! Spinning all through 1st must hurt your 60ft..

Yeah it's the rear end from an automatic.

I need slicks and 18's so I can have some sidewall to flex.

If you are looking for some new rims that you can use for daily driving and for drag radials I suggest the Do Luck Double Sixes. They come in sizes ranging all the way up to 18x10.5
I want to get those for my car.

I think they are discontinued now. Some Supra guys running those.

You might also want to look into a rear suspension setup that is soft to make the car squat down and plant firmly when launching off the line.
Your current setup is too hard which reduces wheel hop but not good for proper drag racing. Just a suggestion

This what I mean by making the car squat down.

And I have high expectations for how much money you put in this car of high to mid 11s.

If you do get drag radials. Don't break the axles....

Ok, so by judging from the shadows in the pictures you took those around 7:30 - 8:00 am...

Ok so why didn't you PM me to go with you for a little shoot?

Is that near Deer Valley?

Nice Pics, the car is looking great!

Not bad, it was about 8am!

It's the new off ramp they are building just north of Happy Valley and 17 which is right down the street from my house. I had one of my kids with me and took all the pics in 10 minutes.

Don't worry, as soon as I'm back in town and have time we will do a real shoot!!

BoostLogic Supra 7.85@184

I like those wheels a lot but that's too much to spend for the few times a year I go racing.

Plus with slicks, maybe even drag radials I would need to get level 2 or 5 axles which are big $ too.

You should be alright with drag radials, Tim. I would ease into how hard you launch with a stickier tire though

Yeah, I would hate to see your car leave on a tow truck...

Dare I say your car can match Intense Power's G coupe? That would be crazy. 2 of the fastest G's in the world in AZ
