hey tim I saw the feature of the car in Modified magazine today. The car looks great and makes us Nissan fans very very proud. I have crossed over to the dark side and now drive a dropped GS350 , but I will always love and remember my G35

Oh and here's a more recent pic of the engine bay. It's far from done but that pic in the mag was taken almost a year ago.

Why?

It has shown to make power on built motors above 12psi.
I'm not another guy with an N/A motor saying it's god's gift but have seen that it does very well vs the oem plenum on higher psi applications.

Have you personally seen different??
If not, you may want to consider otherwise before going around saying so...

I'm not saying that it doesn't make better power vs. OEM plenum on high PSI applications but its deffinitely been shown to be the least effective of aftermarket options. And yes I have personally seen the results and multiple cases of people ditching this option for other plenum options.

vs what?
The only one I know that makes more power on high boost applications is the Cosworth. If you have other evidence in a head to head competition let me know. There are a lot of people who like to talk but never show results. I have tried mine with an APS tallboy and oem with MD 1/2" spacer, both made less than the SSV. I would switch it for a Cosworth in a second but not willing to dump ~$600 more for 10-15hp after I spend another $300 on a re-tune. My car makes well over 500whp on 91 pump gas as is and the SSV looks very nice.
