Or is that one of the things that gets disabled?

Truth, how much would it cost (approx) to have a DD z1 kit installed? (TOTAL price).

to answer your question, you can to "quick stops" when the car is in motion. those quick stops can be user defined (gas station, food, hospital) when the car is in motion. however, it will only show you a few of the closest. with my wife's garmin unit, you could scroll through a few dozen of choices. as far as complete destination address, it's a no-go. if you're putting in an address and start moving the car, the whole screen gets grayed out. i'm interested in finding the hack for it but haven't really found someone that swears by their method. please let us know if you have any more questions.

short or replacing everything with an aftermarket unit, I like my '03 unit pretty well.

I think there are trade offs with any system. My '04 Lexus GX470 has a Nav. I like the touchscreen feature better than my G35 Nav. But i like the G35 nav Birds eye view and how the radio volume lowers when a direction is given.

The Nav in my buddies '07 is much improved

Okay one more question. If I could live with the Nav in the 2005 G35X, is there a Bluetooth kit for the car that I could get installed? Or does the car not have the functionality at all?

there is no bluetooth option for 05 and older as far as i know. but you can find bluetooth car kits that have mics and speakers from motorola, plantronics, jabra, etc. if i'm not mistaken.

For those who have a 2005 G35X w/ factory Navi: I would REALLY appreciate it if you could post a couple of pictures of the actual navigation interface screens (map, fuel consumption, etc. The more, the better)

OR if any of you could point me to a site that has the pics up for the 05 navi, that would work as well. Thanks!
