Questions about bulbs...
I received my OSRAM silverstars today and got two extra bulbs included in the package. They are W5W 12V 5W Blue Vision Ultra bulbs at 3400K. Anyone know where they go?
They sound like wedge bulbs (194), so your parking lights (small bulb beside your high beams), your side marker lights inside your bumper, your licence plate lights, or your trunk dome light.
Sorry don't know where they go but I just did a minor bulb upgrade myself. Just changed out my interior T-6 bulbs (4) FOR THE piaa T-6. Man stock bulbs are yellow as heck. I'd like to buy the new silverstar for the wife Alti. (00)

I've done some research on the city lights and it seems as if they were not available on the 06 sedan. I have put my car in park with the parking lots on and only the yellow turn signal lense lights up. I see no other lights in the headlight housing other than the headlights and turn signal.
I also don't believe they go in the dome/map/rear reading lights either. Those look more like bullet bulbs where this is more of a wedge-ish bulb. Here is a pic of the package:

Anyone else have any ideas?

I'm pretty sure they are called parking lights, they come on when the parking lights on and are inside the same housing as the high beam/fog lamp bulbs. Look inside from the front.
The dome lights are 31mm dome bulbs not wedge bulbs.

I put them in the license plate. I thought about putting them in the clear corners but the light output didn't match the hid headlights and also I don't really care for the "blue bulb look" so I put them somewhere only the light output could be seen and not the color of the bulb.

Nope no city lights on the 06 sedans. I saw a 03-04 with them and checked mine, but there's none.
