Close G35 Call

So I was stopped at a red light last Friday in an area that I was not familiar with. (Using Navigation) Well, I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and was looking to the left. All of a sudden, I hear a big bang. When I looked up front, I noticed a truck and a SUV wrecked literally 15 feet away from me. It was so close that I could have tossed a freaking CD at the wreck. I kind of froze and took a minute to drive away.

Damn bro, I would've stopped, get out and see if all the people involved are OK. At least it happened to me before when I stopped at an intersection, and witnessed 2 cars in front of me collided when one misjudged the timing to turn out from the intersection and did not give the right-of-way to the other car.

Yesterday we got a nasty ice storm in Kansas City where the road looked completely dry, but there was an ultra thin layer of frozen rain. I watched 10people wreck in front, behind, and to the side of me while I drove home. I even watched a police car plow into a highway entrance ramp guardrail at a mere 15mph and I came about 10 feet from plowing into him as my G slide uncontrollably at a whopping 7 mph.

MrTheodore... so do you know what cars collided? How bad was the damage? Were the people ok? Did you just leave?

Anyone want to build an igloo? This was my driveway an hour ago. It had 2" to 6" of frozen rain and ice on it. Luckily I put de-icer down yesterday morning so the ice easily popped off the surface once I broke through. It has dumped another 1/4" of frozen rain while I cleaned off 1/6 of my driveway and my steps.

I still can't figure out why the streets and paved surfaces have 2" to 3" of ice, but the yards have barely 1". It must have something to do with the heat of the exposed ground.

I left my house for work at around 830am and when I put my car in "3" from "D" to speed up engine warm up, my tires spun even though the road looked completely dry. I got to work in Overland Park alright, but when I got to my work's parking lot, my car literally slide 1 foot AFTER I put the car in park. I knew I wasn't going to stick around for the craziness as people left to go home early at noon. I told my boss I was going to work from home and immediately went back home. That's when I started seeing all the wrecks. It's getting nasty again.

I don't think the server has enough storage to tell you about all the crashes I've seen. If you like witnessing crashes, come fill out an application with the CHP.

It was a hard crash but both drivers got out of the car. I was in shock so I drove away. Yes I know that was bad of me but I was running late but I have saved many people in car accidents. I guess my car only being 3 weeks old made things different. Sorry
