i got my car in august 06 and it was made in march 06 my g is black i used goo gone and dental floss and there is no paint fading or anything just hand wax it after and thats it

Pre-Wax Pictures

Right now from a distance it looks good. The "INFINITI" came off without a problem, it was the "G35" that had issues. The glue underneith was very thick and it ended up taking the clear coat with it.

I'm hoping the wax helps. The close ups show the "G35" .

IMO, debadging the back of the G was necessary, and made a huge difference in the looks. I didn't have a heatgun handy, and my girlfriend was using her hairdryer so I carefully used a lighter for the "INFINITI" and "G35" emblems.

That looks killa.

any tips on resoring the clear coat on the "G35" part i screwed up...without a complete repaint????
