I don't want to remove the Infiniti symbol, but i would like to take the lettering off...anyway of doing it without having to repaint the car?

It is an '05 Silver.

I never liked the shaved look on my previous cars but I am so glad I shaved my trunk long long time ago. In my opinion it makes the back look X10 betta!

So on top of this question what would one use to reapply the lables in a different position?

Humm I was expecting something more elaborate and complicated. Won't that stuff peal off after so much moisture?

How would you get the lettering straight and the spacing accurate?

I just did mine last week. If you don't have any Goo Gone, definately buy some! You need a bottle of that, some dental floss or fishing line, and alot of patience. when removing the adhesive behind the letters, DO NOT EXCESSIVELY USE YOUR FINGERNAILS TO SCRAPE IT OFF!! I can't stress this enough! i learned the hard way, the first 2 letters i took off now have minor scratches in the area where I was trying to peel away the adhesive with my fingernail...use the goo gone, alot of it, and spray multiple applications and wait a few minutes before continuing to peel the adhesive away...like i said, have patience and the goo gone does most of the work for you...

HTH

I used grinder on mine.........Came right off.

I twisted the letters off and then used micro fiber towel to remove the glue
