I think he was being sarcastic in a funny remark to try to persuade himself not to spend money on these sweet wheels!

 

My roommate got lucky and got in on a set for his TL. I missed it because I had to wait a day for my pay check.. =(...i was going to sell them anyways....

 

Now they are sitting in my garage. Its a crazy tease..i wont mount them till april probably when winter is over. Any recommendations for tires?

 

That reminds me of when I purchased my HKS muffler...I wanted to wait until the winter was over....really couldn't see myself putting such a nice piece of SS exhaust on my car in a road salt environment.

As far as tires go....I have Toyo T1-R's....reasonably priced and excellent performance in both dry & wet conditions. Though I'm sure you'll get many recommendations here. Can't wait to see how they look on your car.
