Hi. I'm contemplating a G35 Sedan for a fun daily driving car and am doing some research on the 03-05 models. I searched for a buyers guide type of thread but haven't found anything. Is there such a thread?

I'm trying to figure out if there are any problem areas or weak links to be aware of when checking out a G.

I'm also having a hard time finding any with the 6 speed manual transmission. Does anyone know how many were made?

6MTs are hard to find like any other car. I have a 6MT and you need to careful about the transmission and clutch as there have been lot of complaints regarding that.

Personally i think its great to drive the car but the transmission and clutch needs lot of improvement, i feel the clutch very heavy and engagement point is not that good.

 

keep in mind they got a HP upgrade and interior upgrade in 05

 

I'm interersted in just the same.
I'm looking for differences in years of what has changed, possible issues, etc.
I've searched without luck, other than finding this thread
