anyone have a sedan rear seat(stone)?

i have a 06 coupe with stone interior and i am looking for a sedan rear seat. im hoping it will replace the coupe rear seat with no problem. anyone know if it will fit in the coupe? i hate that plastic center piece! thats the main reason why i wanna get it. pm me if anyone knows if it fits and if willing to sell.

i'd think it's pretty obvious that sedan rear seats will not fit in a coupe. seats in a sedan are a bit larger...someone correct me if i'm wrong

I think you are right. I'm 99% sure it won't fit or even be close.

Not gonna happen, not even close as ttrank says. Its a coupe, if you needed more seating you should have considered a family sedan

Sometimes these things are hard to figure.

Years ago I had a bunch of parts from a 1970 Boss Mustang including the interior with a fold down rear seat. I was using the front Boss seats in a 72 Ford Pinto I was building up. For a laugh I took the fold down rear seat from the Boss and placed it in the rear of the Pinto. It bolted right in and was a perfect fit!!! Would have never guessed.

Maybe you can simply mod the plastic section....get an upholstery shop to add some padding and put leather over it. You could even build an armrest back there for your passengers

I have seen posts where people have done this very thing. If I recall correctly, one of them even added a lapbelt for the center section.

That's right....I saw the same thing on here a long time ago. Personally, i think it's really dangerous....the coupe wasn't designed for 3 rear passengers...

Yes, I remember too, but I think they made a custom rear seat, not replaced it with a Sedan rear bench
