^^^ That's a good plan. If you look guilty you draw more attention to yourself. If I'm next to a cop I don't do anything. If see one ahead or behind me I just casually open the moon roof cover to let a little more light in so they don't look quite as dark. There is a guy at my work with another sedan who has limo on all his windows and 50% on the windshield, in 2 years he has not had a problem. He even got in a wreck last month and the cops didn’t say anything to him.

All this talk about tint percentage!!
well i got 2%
I actually got pulled over down here in florida on interstate 95 for driving in the high occupancy lane (a lane for 2 or more people)
Cop says he pulled me over cause he couldnt see in my car to see if i had 2 or more people....haha
so i got 75$ ticket for teh 2%tint(yes he put a meter on it) and 175 for the riding the huv lane..... he said i didnt have to pay the tint ticket if i got it removed and if i proved i removed it
so i kept it on payed the ticket and i now stay out of the high occupancy lane

No, I bought it brand new at towbin Infinity in Vegas. Does nevada allow a certain amount of tint?

Why are all the So Cal peeps saying that they are getting tickets for 70% up front?
It says here that 70% is legal

Oh, OK I've answered my own question. Looks like when the tint is combined with the UV tint of the window it makes it about 50% or so. Man that sucks, we can't tint the front at all then.

That says must allow MORE than 70% of light in. So I guess 71% would be legal? The Cop told me nothing is allowed on the front two windows at all. 70% is a waste of money anyways I was stupid to even waste money and have that put on the front sides because you cant even see it.

I did 70%. It's noticable, but could definetly be darker.

I had 5% all around (minus windshield) on my old Trans Am-cops used to absolutely have a field day with me. like theyd say, "Lou, how many times do we have to tell you to remove that friggin window film?" first name and all. that was like 7 years ago and i guess i was mildly retarted to keep it on for that long. I've been reluctant to tint the G thus far, but im itching to do so.
